Enterbay’s Tribute to Bruce Lee’s Way Of The Dragon
The figure that followed the initial EnterBay launch, was the most interesting to date and was from the film Way of the Dragon, for those who may not have seen Way, this is the film that Bruce Lee made his directing debut. Not only did the movie show the world why he was the greatest martial artist to ever live, it showed that he is way ahead of his time. This film showcased his astounding skills, agility, and charm much more so than the brilliant classic "Enter the Dragon", and this film also showed how truly fast and nimble Bruce Lee was with his fists and feet (the people had to accelerate the frame rates of all his films in order to catch his movements properly). The fight scenes are incredible, and it is already widely regarded that the final Coliseum battle between Tong Long (Bruce Lee) and Colt (Chuck Norris) is the best fighting sequence ever filmed for a movie.
Enterbay went to a lot trouble to make this figure’s release very special, so much so that they commissioned an exclusive premium photo album called "BRUCE LEE in Italy 2007 - Behind the scenes of THE WAY OF THE DRAGON". They sent a photographer and the new W.O.D. action figure to Italy in early March 2007 to locate the places that appeared in the 1972 film, including the exact locations and spots that Bruce Lee himself had visited, and posed the figure in the exact position as Bruce Lee did in some locations! They also included some locations that were not shown in the film, hence "Behind the scene"-images. The album consists of several of these images. This was done by Enterbay as form of respect and a way of offering their tribute to the legend Bruce Lee and show respect to the effort he had made in making the film. To make this very, very special these were only available if you pre-order the figure before April 12th 2007, so these are a very special collectable and are not available now.
The well sculpted figure of Bruce was created by the talented Arnie Kim and comes with a big diorama combined inside the special deluxe packaging box. When you open the box, it turns into a very high quality diorama of the Coliseum in Rome. The accessories that come with this figure are as follows:-10 X Hands for posing, 2 X Nunchaku’s, 1 X Long weapon Stick and 4 X Darts that were used in the film. It also features the original Chinese outfit that Bruce wore in the film that and is made of fine quality material, the figure also comes with a numbered authenticity certificate. New to this figures design is an interchangeable eye system, which gives the head mechanism a possible 360 degree amount of movement.
